NetsEU - A European network of experts and products for informal teaching of sciences
This
project aims is to collect, elaborate, diffuse and exploit ways of
applying non-formal methods and inquiry-based learning approach to
science education at school.
The
organisations and experts participating in the network will
contribute with their examples of informal and "inquiry-based"
methods that can be shared at European level and and exploited as
innovative tools for science teaching.
The
research, testing and evaluation of specific teaching activities will
contribute to the changes and adaptation of the educational system.
This will facilitate acquiring skills to motivate students to study
sciences and to choose scientific careers, under the consideration of
the gender difference that currently exists in this field.

The main didactic principles of the project
Do you know what "Inquiry-Based Learning" means? This term can be explained as "learning through discovery". The NetsEU project is entirely based on this principle and puts stress on strengthening this principle in non-formal education throughout Europe. Explore the videos to learn more.
