In co-operation with the education organisation KTP, L4L provides tailor-made training courses for the following areas of methodological innovation:
Creative use of multimedia in teaching This course will enable you to think of concrete processes to include both active and passive work of trainers and course participants into your courses and training programmes using multimedia materials. This course includes creative work to innovate teaching contents and processes, best practice examples, as well as basic technical and formal guidance regarding the acquisition and post-production of videos in the context of education. Using new media and web 2.0 applications in teaching This course will help you include a broad range of web 2.0 applications in your training courses. Stress is put on social networks and on creative work with tools to bring your training activities and corporate presentation to a new level, while saving promotion costs. In addition to internal trainers, this course is cooperated on by an Austrian specialist from the Talkademy.org institute specialising in using new media in teaching. Using the Second Life virtual reality This course is an introduction into the possibilities and technical parameters of Second Life in instruction and consultation activities. Our virtual package offers basic training, methodological guidance and counselling for efficient use of Second Life both for teaching and promotion. Together with internal KTP lecturers, this course is taught by Gerhilde Meissl Egghart, an Austrian specialist from the Talkademy.org institute specialising in using Second Life in teaching. Presentation skills in foreign languages This course is intended especially for managers and academic experts who need to present specialised topics regularly on meetings and conferences abroad or to international clients in the Czech Republic. (Tailor-made presentation skills course in English and German focusing on high-quality content and form of presentation.) The lecturers in this course are Jason Bedore (a native speaker from the USA and a creative writing tutor) and Paul Holland (a native speaker from the UK and an experienced tutor of English of all levels. Internet literacy This course will provide the participants with up-to-date, practical and useful information on the abuse of the Internet, cyberbullying, as well as on the threats and opportunities of the Internet in the context of education of children and young adults. The lecturers in this course are Mgr. Lukáš Blinka and Mgr. Anna Ševčíková, internationally recognized cyberpsychologists. |
